A true Hawaiian classic, Huli Huli Chicken gets its name from the Hawaiian word “huli,” meaning “turn.” Traditionally, whole chickens are slow-grilled over open flames and turned repeatedly while being basted with a sweet, savory, and smoky glaze, creating the caramelized flavor that made this island favorite famous.
